About the Mid-Autumn Festival
The Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节, Zhōngqiū Jié) falls on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar — the night when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. In 2026, this falls on September 25.
